    Steering Exchange – Old Core Return

    If any remanufactured steering component is not available, you can choose to send your old unit in for rebuilding. This is an option we offer for all exchange units.

    For exchange units, we require the return of the old core. Returning the old core is the customer’s responsibility.

    Please contact us when your old core is ready for return.

    If you would like us to arrange collection, please call us and we will be happy to help. We will email you the collection details (including a consignment note) and return instructions, please note there is a return fee.

Each component is disassembled, inspected, and reassembled with new seals, O-rings, bushings, and boots. We ensure every unit is rigorously tested to guarantee performance and reliability.

    All core units must be serviceable. This means that whilst they may be old, worn out, leaking, or noisy, Active Power Steering can still work our magic on these units, and remanufacture them back to their original standards.     What does the warranty cover? Our products come with a National 2-Year or 40,000 km Warranty (whichever comes first). This warranty covers any defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the warranty period, we will choose to either repair the product, using new or remanufactured parts, or replace the product with a new or remanufactured product.**The warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by: Conditions, malfunctions, or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship. Conditions, malfunctions, or damage resulting from improper fitment, maintenance, misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, or alteration**
