    Steering Exchange – Old Core Return

    1. If any exchange steering component is not available, you can choose to send your old unit in for rebuilding (option available for all exchange units).We can organise the collection.
    2. For exchange units, return of the old core is required and is the customer’s responsibility.
    3. Shipping cost for the exchange unit includes both sending the new and returning the exchange core.
    4. Please contact us when your old core is ready for return and we will organise collection from your shipping address.

This means that whilst they may be old, worn out, leaking, or noisy, Active Power Steering can still work our magic on these units, and remanufacture them back to their original standards.     What does the warranty cover? Our products come with a National 2-Year or 40,000 km Warranty (whichever comes first). This warranty covers any defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the warranty period, we will choose to either repair the product, using new or remanufactured parts, or replace the product with a new or remanufactured product.**The warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by: Conditions, malfunctions, or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship.
